Problem

Many institutions continue to rely on fragmented and manual approaches to managing complaints, disputes, and case investigations. These processes are often characterised by inadequate documentation, delayed responses, inconsistent communication, and limited accountability. The absence of centralised systems creates challenges in tracking the progress of cases, safeguarding sensitive information, and generating reliable reports for decision-making. Consequently, stakeholders frequently experience mistrust, inefficiency, and procedural inconsistencies, which undermine institutional transparency and confidence in governance and conflict-resolution mechanisms across educational, organisational, and administrative environments.

Solution

This research proposes a technology-driven framework for transparent and accountable case and complaint management within institutional environments. The study explores the integration of digital workflows, centralised data management, automated case tracking, and secure reporting mechanisms to enhance dispute-resolution processes. By examining governance principles, workflow efficiency, and user accessibility, the research develops a conceptual and operational model capable of supporting structured complaint intake, investigation coordination, progress monitoring, and outcome documentation within a secure and auditable digital ecosystem suitable for diverse institutional contexts.

Result

The findings demonstrate that a centralised and technology-enabled case management framework can significantly improve transparency, efficiency, accountability, and procedural consistency in institutional dispute-resolution processes. The research reveals that digital workflows enhance record management, reduce delays, improve communication among stakeholders, and support data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, the study establishes the practical relevance of integrating secure audit trails, automated notifications, and standardised reporting mechanisms into complaint-management systems. These outcomes contribute to the development of ResolveRite as an applied innovation emerging from the research project.
